2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 330 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

Exactly a year ago, I was given the permission to use this black and white photo by Artist photographer Magaret Meintjes  TOLWE, South Africa.

We signed an online agreement regarding the Copyright.

Thank you so much Margaret. I have always wanted to attempt painting cheetahs. I have my dream come true.

The shift of light

Our paintings do not have to be big to show expression and emotions!

“The shift of light” is 10″ x 8″

I had collected a few buds of roses and the top of a delphinium from my garden, placed them in a small vase. I was fascinated by the light coming through. It became another painting.

It is a cold winter afternoon. You are passing by a very inviting tea room.
You push the door, a warm fire place lights up a corner of the room…….

I have been inspired by a photo given to me by Art reviewer and Art curator, Frannie Moore

This work has been created online in my workshop on Redbubble where artists and photographers inspire each others. There we ask questions, give answers, etc..
On my side, I try to give as much possible, information about the creation of my paintings.
